The vavengers

 

I have co-founded The Vavengers in 2014 when I met Mabel Evans, a filmmaker and activist who like me has her heart set on changing the world. The Vavengers is now a registered charity committed to ending FGM and all forms of Gender-Based Violence.

John Lyon’s Charity

 

I have been awarded a multi-year grant by the charity to run educational and safeguarding sessions to teachers, parents and children.

NHS

 

I worked with the NHS for many years as a Sexual Health Nurse where I proudly supported thousands of patients including FGM survivors and championed to launch a pilot FGM questionnaire programme.
