Scarlet Udaan hosts Hoda Ali for a podcast episode

“Hoda Ali is an FGC survivor and human rights activist. Having undergone Female Genital Cutting at the age of seven, which has resulted in lifelong health complications, Hoda has drawn from her own experiences to defend the rights of girls and put an end to FGC. She was nominated as an Amnesty International Human Rights Defender in 2018, and has most recently appeared in “100 Vaginas”, a documentary film aiming to debunk notions of shame surrounding women’s bodies.”
